Tatton Estate supports a transparent and consistent approach to site promoters. Published protocols should allow proportionate engagement on evidence, infrastructure and deliverability without creating preferential treatment. Records should distinguish factual clarification from advocacy and should be included in the engagement register where appropriate.

The Council should also maintain accurate public site records. Superseded or withdrawn submissions should be labelled and mapped separately from current promotions. This is essential to prevent public misunderstanding and to ensure assessment is based on the promoter's current position. Tatton Estate remains willing to provide technical evidence and coordinate engagement with infrastructure providers.
