In 2024 Flow Country in Scotland became first global World Heritage Site for Peatland.
I put ALL Wildlife Sites and Peatland as the first reasons for safe guarding all lowland peat in perpetuity.
This land encompasses -Environment Protection by Natural Ecosystems of
Habitats.
Local Nature Recovery, plus
Natural Flooding Protection.
Protection of Greenbelt will be required for adjacent peatland to thrive.
Plus mosaic sites in environment to provide increase of biodiversity for future generations of wildlife, plants, insects and Future Generations will of People.
Climate Crisis Must Be Addressed Now - rather than trying to reverse destruction!
