Representation Summary:
I concur with the comments submitted by Chelford Parish Council regarding the Local Plan for Chelford Village. I am particularly concerned that existing infrastructure may be unable to accommodate further development, including highways, schools, healthcare, amenity space, water and electricity services. I have experienced periodic water and electricity outages during my time living in Chelford and believe existing services should be reinforced before additional development proceeds. I therefore object to the Local Plan proposals for Chelford in their current form and request that the Parish Council’s concerns are addressed, with revised proposals circulated for further public consultation before further development is approved.

Dear Sirs
Local Plan Comments in respect of Chelford Village
I have read and fully concur with the comments submitted to you by Chelford Parish Council relating to the Local Plan with regard to Chelford Village.
I am particularly concerned about the need to ensure that infrastructure (services, highway improvements, school and medical provision, amenity spaces, etc) are addressed. With regard to water and electricity services, we have experienced periodic outages in the 8 years we have lived in Chelford. These and other services need reinforcing before any new developments proceed to avoid putting further pressure on existing properties.
I therefore reject the Local Plan for Chelford Village in its present form and trust that the comments raised by Chelford Parish Council will be addressed and a suitably modified Local Plan for Chelford will be circulated for general review prior to any further developments being given the go ahead.
