Local plan scoping consultation

I wish to comment on the fields along Pavement lane and Springfield being opened up to possible building consultations.

I believe this land CFS26 373 should be kept as green belt to protect Mobberley’s rural character. The area is home to a wealth of wildlife namely birds including owls, bats, hedgehogs and badgers. The fields also have ancient hedgerows and mature and ancient oak trees.

The community use it as a dog walking area and to exercise and access nature.

Traffic into and out of Knutsford is already a problem and would need properly assessing. The local
Infrastructure is not set up to support extra houses.

Furthermore the field is in a flood plain so drainage would be a problem along with sewerage.

Local schools, doctors and healthcare are already over subscribed.

Land that is brownfield and non green belt sites should be prioritised ahead of any green belt sites.

Furthermore the site is in a high decibel noise area due to the airport and developments close to this have already been turned down for this reason.
