Cheshire East in the new local plan need to ensure that Green Belt & Peatland in & around Macclesfield are protected from development.
Ecologically valuable Greenbelt areas should not be re classified as grey belt.
The many Brownfield sites, an eyesore in & around town centre should be prioritised for development.
Carbon rich Peatland Areas should not be disturbed, avoiding release of CO2.
Sites of Special Scientific Interest / land bordering these areas, ancient woodlands / lowland raised bogs / grasslands with many protected species should be preserved.
