I object to building on land at Ashley. My family has farmed land in the area for over 100 years, and my brother continues to live and work in the area. I consider development at Ashley to be an inappropriate way of accommodating overspill from Hale or Hale Barns. I have seen significant changes affecting the area over time, including the arrival of the motorway and railway, and I am concerned about the continued encroachment of development. I feel strongly that further building would negatively affect Ashley and its longstanding rural character.
