We wish to object strongly to the proposal to build housing in Ashley Village.
This is a small farming community, the infrastructure and transport links would not possibly cope with the extra population created.
The area forms an important open green belt between Altrincham and Knutsford, and an influx of more housing and consequent traffic pollution should be a serious consideration.
We should not be destroying valuable open farm land, along with the associated loss of wild life.

I hope Cheshire East planning will firmly oppose this proposed development.
