I fully support the Brereton Neighbourhood Plan Review and its progression to independent examination and adoption. The revised framework balances future development with protecting the parish's rural character, landscape, biodiversity, and community assets. It meets all Basic Conditions, aligns with national policy, and conforms to the Cheshire East Development Plan. I strongly endorse Policy HOUS 01, which restricts development outside settlement boundaries. Furthermore, preserving the low-density, semi-rural character of Brereton Heath Lane and Moss Lane near the Local Nature Reserve is vital. I urge the Council to retain these robust environmental and countryside protections.
