I fully support the Consultation and consider that it it meets the Basic Conditions required to maintain the character, biodiversity, landscape and above all the 'open countryside' feel of Brereton Parish. It is also very important that two of our 'countryside assets', namely the Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve and the SSSI do not become surrounded by housing developments. These assets will, in my opinion, be compromised, if any consideration is given to the reinstatement of the Brereton Heath Settlement Boundary.

I fully support the 'Brereton Neighbourhood Plan (modification) Regulation 16', it should proceed and be adopted as part of the Cheshire East development plan. It is vital that the green gaps between the settlements that make up Brereton Parish and indeed surrounding settlements, are maintained and thus the open countryside character will be preserved for many years to come. If sprawl is allowed, this legacy will be destroyed. I particularly support the recognition given to Brereton Heath Lane and Moss Lane, for which the 'open countryside' status is of paramount importance.
