I fully support the detailed and well thought out update of this Neighbourhood Plan.
The detailed character assessment of Brereton Heath has been clearly and accurately set out in Appendix 4.
Brereton Heath Lane is well used by many people walking, cycling or riding horses along the lane with generally wide grass verges and without pavements except for one very short stretch.
Policy RUR11 is an entirely appropriate and of the highest importance to protect the character of Brereton Heath being rural, green and low density development.
I fully support the Open Countryside status of Brereton Heath Lane.

The Brereton Neighbourhood Plan achieves the requirements necessary for the benefit of our local communities:
Brereton Heath is rightly classed as Open Countryside and there should not be any new developments in Brereton Heath.
In the public consultation held by Brereton Parish Council, of those who responded 90% of households in Brereton Heath voted to retain its current Open Countryside status. There are no service facilities such as a public house or a school in Brereton Heath.
I support the policies in this Neighbourhood Plan including HOUS 06, HOUS 07 and HOUS 08.

I fully support Brereton Heath Lane, which has no service facilities such as a school or public house, continuing to be classified as Open Countryside.
Under Policy RUR11, extensions and alterations to existing buildings are required to respect the character of the existing building and not unduly harm the rural character of the countryside. Such a policy is entirely appropriate and of the highest importance to protect the character of Brereton Heath being rural, green and of low density development.
Those households in Brereton Heath Lane who voted, 90% supported the retention of Open Countryside status for Brereton Heath Lane.

We are fortunate to have the Brereton Nature Reserve on Brereton Heath Lane and it is absolutely right in its Environmental Assessment for the Neighbourhood Plan to retain the Open Countryside status of Brereton Heath Lane to protect its character of being rural. green and of low density development.
